Peter's Farm Lodge and Tregonning Cottage sit 500 metres apart on the family farm above Waipiata. Both are original Central Otago homesteads, restored for comfort.

The Homestead

Two queen rooms and two twin rooms inside the original 1882 homestead. Original fireplaces in every bedroom, six-inch native timber floors, and the formal lounge with its original wallpaper.

Goldminers Cabin
2 cabins
Cabin 1 has three single beds; Cabin 2 has a queen bed. A bathroom unit sits two metres from the cabins.

Tregonning Cottage
A quaint cottage,
500 metres away.
Tregonning Cottage is closely tied with Peter's Farm Lodge, which is only 500 metres away. It was built in 1882 of mud brick and schist. This quaint cottage still stands strong today with many of the original features retained.
The lounge has new settees and a Metro log fire. The kitchen is large and well-appointed for those who prefer to do their own cooking, and there's a BBQ and picnic area outside or under the sheltered veranda.
